Ax counter-current regeneration sodium ion exchanger is the equipment used for raw water softening, in order to remove calcium, magnesium ions in the water. The equipment whose water hardness is under 0.03 mg-eq/L t, it can be used for supplemental water of low pressure boiler and heating boiler, and it can also be used to other occasion requirements asking to use soft water supply .

Before the raw water into the ion exchanger it should be generally pretreatment by mechanical filter, the suspended matter of water is required ≤ 5 mg/L. Because this equipment uses the counter-current regeneration process, it make renewable agent fully contact with the resin, thus regeneration agent consumption is reduced, and the quality of the water is improved.

Exchange agent generally uses the strong acid cation exchange resin (732 resin).
