Atmospheric press bed counter-current regeneration negative/positive ion exchanger has all the advantages of counter-current regeneration, and it leave out the top pressure system, simplify the operation and deliver the investment and running costs. So it is the most advanced desalting processing equipment. The column loaded different resin can be strong type bed, bed weak type and bunk bed, to form economic and reasonable desalting process and get the best technical economic effect.
This switch design flow speed 200~800 is 15~20m/h, 1000~3000 is 20~30m/h, renewable velocity 200~800 is 2m/h, 1000~3000 is 5~7m/h, backwashing velocity positive bed is 10~15m/h, negative bed is 8~10m/h.
To ensure the water making work time, reducing regeneration frequency, the total saltness of the inflow water should best under 500 mg/L. When it exceeds sub-value, the pre-electrodialysis is more reasonable.
When negative/positive ion exchanger complex rehabilitation bed system, it is more reasonable to set CO2 remover to dealkalize when the basicity of inflow water exceed 50 mg/L.
