Mechanical filter

Mechanical filter is mainly used as the ion exchange method softening demineralization system. When the raw water suspended solids content is greater than the pretreatment equipment of 30-50 mg/l, it also can be used as the rough filtration equipment for industrial water supply whose water quality requirements is not very high. Filter materials of filters is generally single layer quartz sand, particle size specification is as water quality request. It's always uses the 0.5-1.0mm, and the height of filter layer is generally 700-1200mm when it is used for softening demineralization filtered, its working condition is pressure style.

The product is suitable for the industrial and mining enterprises and town water treatment facilities whose industrial water and living water can meet the standards for drinking water that filter effluent turbidity should under 5mg/l, it has good effect to remove the suspended solid content of the industrial sewage.

Activated carbon filter

(1)     Operating principle

The working principle of activated carbon filter is use the active carbon adsorption mechanism, mechanism of adsorption is interaction of water, solute and solid particles. The main reason that causes absorption is the dewatering characteristics of the solute to the water and the high affinity of the solute to solid particles, the other reason is mainly caused by the electrostatic force, Van der Waals force or Chemical bonds force between the solute and adsorbent.

Activated carbon filter can remove the organic matter, colloid, residual chlorine of water by the adsorption of active carbon. The equipment has characteristics such as good filtering effect, low operating cost, simple operation, etc.

(3)     Applied range

In water treatment field, activated carbon filter is mainly used to remove the trace contaminant of water, applied range include decoloring, deodorization, all kinds of soluble organic. In the process of pure water it can be used as the preprocessing of ion exchange, electrodialysis and reverse osmosis to remove of organic matter, colloid and residual chlorine, etc. It also can be used as a deep processing means after secondary treatment to ensure the quality of the reuse water.

The activated carbon filter produced by our company can be divided into manual type and automatic type according to the types of control. Manual type filter mainly control the operation, washing and backwashing of the filter by adjusting the valve, but automatic type filter controls the operation, washing and backwashing of the filter by the Fleek automatic head. According to the material of can, the filter can be divided into glass fiber reinforced plastic cans, carbon steel cans, stainless steel cans, inwall of the can could be made internal coating epoxy coated or rubber lining anticorrosive according to users' requirements.
